Kempton, George (1868 - 1931) and Mattie (1868 - 1946) were the Kempton Komedy Kompany in vaudeville. They played the Hill Opera House in Colon and liked the area and retired here and began organizing weekly shows with local talent at the Hill Opera House. Sec 4; Row 45; # 6&7
