THE GREAT GET TOGETHER MYSTERY OF 1970

The Get Together attendees and the entire city of Colon were stunned when Wilma Rench, Abbott's long time organ player, reported that her purse had been lifted from the Abbott's dressing room. This is a town where most households don't even lock their doors or the cars. Wilma had $180 dollars in cash in the purse at the time of the theft. Since it happened back stage there were limited suspects.

The police were called in and things got pretty grim until she found out, hours later, that it was her husband teaching her a lesson not to leave her purse unattended in a dressing room.

JACK & WILMA TOGETHER AT THE GET TOGETHER

Jack Rench and his mystery maids followed with a variety of magic and illusions, featuring the Arabian Tent from which one of the girls was vanished only to appear later running down the aisle to the stage. Jack Rench followed with a flag staff productionand a mystifying girl vanish. Jack Rench and his Mystery Maids presented a fast act at the Get-Together with some showy equipment. The fine musical accompaniment for all the shows was provided by Wilma Rench of Athens at the organ.
