Robbins, Kenneth (1902 - 1971) was teamed up with his father Marvin (Dud) as jugglers, slack wire walkers, comedy and acrobatics in vaudeville. They settled permanently in Colon and still have many descendants and relatives in Colon. Sec 5; Row 5; # 4

Another show business family that settled here in Colon has proof of several relatives still living in the area. Such is the case with the Robbins. Here they are pictured above as the Robbins Comedy Company.

He was the great-grandfather of Jackie Beals and Vicki LaRoque of Sturgis, Michigan, daughters of Jack. Seated on the far right is Kenneth Robbins, son of Marvin, and father of Jack Robbins.

The act consisted of acrobatics, juggling, and comedy. Marvin or "Dud" performed a juggling act while walking on the slack wire.

The act included some impressive types of acrobatics. That is Marvin on top, billed as the "Iron Jaw" because he would suspend his adult son on a trapeze bar with his teeth.
